things to do on the day of graduation

aamcnamaraInstead of freaking out or trying to color-coordinate my outfit to my robes (both useful pursuits, I'm sure), I have written approximately 1k on the Notanovel, bringing my total to 25k.
Which admittedly is only 5k more than I had almost a month ago. I've been busy, okay? As well, the first 20k was mainly setup and things that I knew. This 5k was figuring out what the characters were going to do and where they were going to go with this setup. Middles are hard.
At any rate, now I have 25k. The characters have a plan. I have, in addition to 25k, a feeling that this plan may go disastrously wrong before they can even begin to implement it. Then again, what kind of a story would it be if everything went right?

Date: 2009-06-07 12:13 am (UTC)Our robes were chocolate brown. The next year's class ended up with bright banana yellow. I don't think there's any coordinating with that....
