Okay, so yesterday I actually got to 163, by tricking my brain (you're totally done for the night! Don't have to do anything else, nope, not us!) and by adding more crime.

Today, well, you see the page count above. Not glorious, but not shameful, either.

I spent a good deal of today at the Minnesota Digital Libraries conference. Things I learned: digital library topics covered were not actually all that relevant to me; they have good box lunches; librarians are nice people. (I knew that last one already.)

Also, I went to a grad party. Going to high school grad parties as a college student is an odd thing. You can't laugh at them for being in high school any more, but they haven't been to college yet, so--? But it's nice to congratulate people on their achievements, and somehow it works out. (Other question: do recent-graduates give money? I seem to be settling for 'no, but they do give handmade cards'. I'll start giving people money when I didn't go to high school with them, I think.)

Maybe tomorrow I'll keep making progress on the novel. I have added some Drama, which helps, and I know who she turns to next, which also helps. Earlier today I was despairing of linking everything together at the end, but that might just have to work itself out.

Or, you know, wait for revisions.

Mm. If I could attend grad parties this year, I would hand out handmade cards. I'm glad I got to attend yours.

I am a fan of handmade cards! Both the making and distributing of same.

I'm glad you got to come to mine, too.
