Oh New England weather patterns, so weird, I think you mean. Back in Minnesota the weather is largely predictable. Here? Not so much.
I am not sure. A couple of my friends here at college have expressed vague interest in going, but I don't know if they're serious; if they don't go, I might just go by myself, but I'm probably equally likely to say "eh" and go to other cons instead, and maybe go to Arisia some other year--it's not an especially high priority for me, just sounds like it could be fun.
