autumnal city (not)

I finished reading Dhalgren this afternoon.

In summary:

I liked it, and I think it's a good book. But I don't like it for the reasons that I think it's good, and I don't think it's good for the reasons that I like it.

Now I am going to take markers and pencils and possibly an exacto knife to it, and make it into book art. Normally I am anti doing things to books, but somehow I don't think that this one minds.
