At least at this point in my life, I seem to be about half and half.

Maybe this goes along with the "Writers just write down what the Muse whispers in their ear" bit, and the "Writers are not human as you and I are" idea? There are actually a lot of these insidious ideas floating around about What Writers Are and What Writers Do.
