See, I think of all those things as "being a writer". Which, yes, definitely, being a writer is something I do all the time. (And the one noun I will allow to describe myself.)

"Writing" to me is sitting down and putting new words on a page, and "rewriting" is looking at what I have afterward and changing things around, and together those two parts are the miraculous blackbox function.
